T he Vice-Chancellor of (NSUK),, on Thursday hosted a historical joint fast-breaking occasion bringing together Muslim and Christian members of the university community in a demonstration of interfaith harmony.
The event, held on March 12, 2026, at the university’s Assembly Hall in, brought together Muslims observing and Christians observing to share a meal at sundown.
Consulting with the Info and Protocol Unit, Teacher Liman explained the synchronised observance of the two holy seasons as a distinct minute for reflection and unity within the organization.
“The overlapping of Ramadan and Lent is no coincidence; it is a symbolic require adherents of both major faiths to unite and reflect on the values of faith, empathy, and tranquil coexistence,” she said.
