OYO, OYO STATE– The Wings of Compassion Structure (WINCOF) has successfully concluded a two-day instructional outreach in Oyo town, distributing 250 long lasting school bags and various book dividers to less privileged pupils.
The initiative, designed to offer material support while cultivating psychological durability, targeted main schools in the Atiba and Oyo East City Government Areas.
The outreach began with a high-profile courtesy visit to the Palace of the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, where the WINCOF team talked about the important function of community-led empathy in national development.
The distribution concentrated on two key institutions: ADS Primary School in Agunpopo and Methodist Main School in Apaara.
By offering premium school bags, the structure aims to lower the physical and financial problems on underprivileged families, ensuring that students can transport their learning products securely and with self-respect.
The workout was carefully kept track of by regional education authorities, including Mr. Salawu Wasiu Adewale, Education Secretary of Atiba UBEA, and Mrs. Funmilayo Adekunbi O., Education Secretary of Oyo East UBEA.

Beyond the product presents, the structure provided a powerful message of addition. Speaking on behalf of the Handling Director, Mr. Temiloluwa Ogunniyi, Pastor Dawodu Moses A. attended to a delicate social concern, emphatically declining the label of “illegitimate” kids.
“There is no such thing as an invalid kid throughout the world, and particularly in Nigeria,” Pastor Moses stated.
He reassured the students that every child is a deliberate production with a divine function, despite their moms and dads’ scenarios.
The WINCOF team, which also included Evang. Abel Ogunniyi, challenged the young beneficiaries to begin practicing compassion immediately instead of awaiting the adult years or monetary abundance.
“Do not say, ‘I will become thoughtful when I grow up and have resources.’ Utilize the love and empathy you have now,” the representative encouraged.
This “seed-planting” philosophy is main to WINCOF’s objective of raising a new generation of fairly minded Nigerian leaders.
As the two-day occasion finished up, parents and teachers expressed profound gratitude, noting that such interventions are necessary for keeping children encouraged in the classroom during tough economic times.
