Officials of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) have inspected the finished Model 2 Smart School project in Abak, applauding the integration of modern innovation designed to enhance mentor and knowing in the basic education sector.
The assessment team was led by the Executive Secretary of UBEC, Aisha Garba, who was represented by the Deputy Executive Secretary (Technical), Rasaq Olajuwon Akinyemi. He was accompanied by the Director of the South-South Zonal Workplace, Udoh Akpanossom, and the Executive Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Anietie Etuk.
Throughout the visit to the center in Abak City government Area, the UBEC delegation expressed fulfillment with the effective conclusion of the job, describing it as a considerable action towards strengthening technology-driven education at the fundamental level.
Speaking throughout the examination, Akinyemi kept in mind that the clever school is equipped with contemporary digital knowing tools such as interactive clever boards and tablets targeted at improving the discovering experience for pupils and enhancing teachers’ instructional delivery.
“This project reflects UBEC’s dedication to advancing wise school education across Nigeria through the deployment of modern ICT tools that will improve teaching and learning results,” he stated.
He further stressed that the commission stays dedicated to supporting initiatives that incorporate innovation into classrooms as part of more comprehensive efforts to enhance the quality of fundamental education nationwide.
Likewise speaking, the Executive Chairman of Akwa Ibom SUBEB, Anietie Etuk, admired UBEC for helping with the job and ensured that the state would ensure the efficient usage and maintenance of the facility.
“We value the efforts of UBEC in providing this task. It is a major milestone in promoting quality education through using technology, and we will guarantee that the center is optimally used for the advantage of our pupils and teachers,” Etuk specified.
Education stakeholders say the Model 2 Smart School initiative is part of UBEC’s technique to improve finding out environments and prepare Nigerian students for a technology-driven future.
