However, the journey was not without difficulties. Assessing his experience, Roderick revealed that before starting law school, he had to confront among the most challenging periods of his life.
He shared that he examined himself into a domestic psychological health center in Wisconsin after having problem with extreme anxiety that affected his life. “As I assess this long and difficult procedure, I can’t help but feel incredibly proud of how far I have actually come,” he said.Roderick also revealed gratitude to the mentors who supported him throughout his law school application journey.”I would be remiss if I didn’t openly appreciateto my incredible mentors who sacrificed so much of their time to help me throughout the law school application procedure,” he added.At Duke University, Roderick stayed committed to excellence while building meaningful
relationships and experiences that formed his development as a legal professional. In 2026, he completed his studies and finished with his Master of Laws degree. Sharing his joy after graduation, Roderick described the moment as one of
the proudest achievements of his life.”My time at Duke was transformative in so many ways, and I will be permanently indebted to my neighborhood for helping me persevere to the end, “he said.Roderick stated that the turning point is specifically significant to him as he ended up being the very first lawyer in his household.
“From the very start of this journey, I guaranteed myself that any space I accessed to would also be a room I carried my family into with me. That intention remains the same today, and this achievement is simply as much theirs as it is mine,”he shared.Following his graduation, Roderick exposed that he would be returning to Chicago to begin his legal profession with White & Case LLP, where he will work as a Partner in the firm’s International Realty Practice.
