Oregon Tech Partners with Google Public Sector to Advance Student and Faculty Research
Oregon Institute of Innovation recently revealed it is collaborating with Google Public Sector to carry out Google Cloud’s AI and high-performance computing across the institution. The collaboration aims to accelerate trainee and professors research study, broaden computing capacity, and provide researchers with AI tools to streamline their work.
Oregon Tech faculty and trainees work on grant-funded research initiatives across different disciplines, consisting of projects concentrated on rural healthcare workforce development, energy options, and applied computing, the university stated in a news statement. Scientists will now access to Google Cloud’s advanced computing facilities and resources, consisting of graphics processing systems, tensor processing units, AI tools, and specialized datasets.
