The NEPL/OERNL Joint Endeavor, through Oando Energy Resources Nigeria Limited, has actually opened applications for the 2026/2027 Tertiary Scholarship Scheme.

Scholarship categories

Host/Transit Communities Benefit Award
This category is for trainees from Oando’s host or transit communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Imo States.
National Benefit Award
This classification is for trainees from throughout Nigeria outside the host neighborhoods.
Who can use
The scholarship is open to:
- signed up full-time undergraduates in Nigerian tertiary institutions
- certified 100-level students at the time of application
Who is not eligible
The scheme is closed to:
- trainees in 200 level and above
- current recipients of comparable scholarships from other companies or companies
- dependants of staff of Oando PLC and its subsidiaries
That requirement is direct; candidates need to check each point before they begin the type.
Documents required for the application
Candidates need to sign up and publish scanned copies of the needed files.
The files listed are:
- recent passport photo with white background
- school ID card
- O’Level certificate and admission letter
- birth certificate and evidence of city government location of origin
- letter from neighborhood leaders for host community applicants
- JAMB outcome, compliance kind and other supporting files
Selection process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online aptitude test.
Candidates need to score at least 50% to be thought about for the scholarship. Just shortlisted candidates will be called for more communication.
