The National Examinations Council, NECO, has informed schools that the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Education, BECE, and Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, SSCE, Internal Registration applications are still active.
The Council mentioned that the applications can be downloaded from the NECO authorities site. It asked that all schools in each state begin the biodata capture and validation process for prospects. Schools are also expected to follow the 2026 BECE and SSCE Internal Registration Standards throughout registration.
