The Joint Admissions and Admission Board (JAMB) has dismissed as incorrect a widely circulated report claiming that the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Assessment (UTME) has been postponed.

In a statement launched on Saturday, the evaluation body explained the purported press release as “harmful” and prompted prospects and the general public to disregard it, highlighting that it did not originate from the board.
