
After graduation, he applied to study abroad, and in 2024, his commitment was rewarded with the Texas Instruments Structure Scholarship, fully funding his Master’s degree at UTEP.
In 2025, Sunday finished with a Master’s in Electrical Engineering, achieving an ideal 4.00 GPA. He also got several awards, including the Arleigh B. and Maximina G. Templeton Scholarship and the ECE Graduate Service Award, recognizing his mentorship and contributions to the community.During graduate school
, Sunday worked as a Teaching Assistant for 2 years, tutoring and mentoring over 200 students while conducting research study in network fault management under the assistance of Dr. McGarry.This experience, he said honed his technical know-how, research skills, and enthusiasm for advancing the field.
