
The Federal Government of Nigeria has actually authorized an overall of N4 billion in take-off grants for two newly established tertiary organizations to accelerate their early operations and institutional advancement.
Under the arrangement, N2 billion each will be designated to the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Federal Polytechnic in Abuja and the Federal University of Science and Technology situated in Epe.
The development was revealed by the Minister of Education, Maruf Tunji Alausa, during the inauguration of crucial authorities selected to lead the recently developed organizations.
According to the minister, the grants are intended to support the smooth liftoff and early advancement of the institutions.
“The liftoff grants will support the institutions’ launch and development, enabling them to conquer preliminary challenges and develop a strong structure for future development,” Alausa stated.
He stressed that the management of the freshly designated authorities would play a vital function in strengthening governance and driving scholastic excellence within the organizations.

The Federal Government noted that the funding reflects its dedication to expanding access to college and enhancing the nation’s human capital development.
Authorities stated the institutions are expected to utilize the funds to develop scholastic structures, improve infrastructure, and construct strong foundations for long-term growth and innovation in Nigeria’s tertiary education system.
