The Federal University Oye-Ekiti, FUOYE, has opened postgraduate admission for the 2026/2027 scholastic session. Ph.D admission requirements
FUOYE stated Ph.D programs are open to holders of Master’s degrees with a minimum rating of 60% in their Master’s degree programmes.
A Ph.D program runs for a minimum of 3 sessions and a maximum of five sessions.
The university likewise specified that candidates will take pertinent courses for the Ph.D programme and finish a supervised thesis.
M.Phil/ Ph.D admission requirements
Candidates who score in between 55.00% and 59.99% Cumulative Weighted Average, CWA, at Master’s level can request the M.Phil/ Ph.D program on full-time basis.
The program runs for a minimum of one session. After that, a prospect may relocate to the Ph.D programme on great efficiency.
FUOYE stated that candidates in this classification can convert to Ph.D candidature after a development evaluation report by a Panel of Examiners at the end of the very first session of registration.
To get approved for that conversion, the candidate should score at least 60% aggregate at the end of the first session.
Master’s degree admission requirements
