The Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (CR-SUBEB) has gotten 20 mini buses under the 2025 Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC)/ CR-SUBEB Quality Control Intervention to strengthen school guidance and enhance the quality of standard education across the state.
The automobiles are anticipated to enhance the mobility of Quality control groups, making it possible for more efficient tracking and inspection of public primary and junior secondary schools throughout the 18 Local Government Locations of Cross River State.
According to the Board, the intervention will boost school assessments, improve compliance with UBEC quality standards and support much better teaching and learning outcomes in public schools.
Speaking during the handover event, the Chairman of CR-SUBEB, Mrs. Fidelia Okpo Ene, explained the intervention as a major turning point in efforts to enhance education delivery in the state.
She revealed gratitude to the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) and the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for their continued commitment to enhancing fundamental education through tactical investments and continual assistance.
