
Sa’adu Zungur University, Bauchi State, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to present 12 brand-new scholastic programmes beginning with the 2026/2027 academic session.
The university revealed the advancement in a declaration issued on Tuesday by its Public Relations Officer, Auwal Hassan.

Discussing the approvals, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fatimah Tahir, explained the advancement as a substantial turning point in the university’s pursuit of academic excellence and institutional expansion.
She said the approval reflects the university’s commitment to fulfilling the quality assurance requirements set by the NUC while expanding access to college.
