The Council of Legal Education, Nigerian Law School, has actually launched a public notification on the universities approved to confess students into the LL.B program in Nigeria for 2026. The notice is directed to the public, prospective trainees, moms and dads, guardians and other stakeholders. It specifies that just universities accredited by the Council of Legal Education are authorised to admit trainees into the Bachelor of Laws, LL.B, programme in Nigeria.
What the general public notice says The Council mentions that any university that confesses trainees into a Law program without its approval is acting against the rules that govern legal education in Nigeria.
It likewise mentions that such a university will face sanctions under extant guidelines and policy.
The caution goes even more; trainees confessed into Law programs in universities not accredited by the Council of Legal Education will not be eligible for admission into the Nigerian Law School.
