Determined to alter his life, he concentrated on his education and excelled academically, eventually finishing professional high school in 2021.
With expect a better future, Eugene used to Ateneo de Manila University and was accepted with monetary support from the university’s admissions relief office and alumni association.Even after getting
admission to university, Eugene’s journey stayed difficult. To support himself economically, he tutored other trainees and worked as a choreographer for university festivals.Despite the struggles, he remained focused on his research studies.
“Ateneo saw beyond my tattered story and took a chance on someone like me. They didn’t see empty forms, simply a child desperate for a 2nd chance,” he said.In June 2025, Eugene’s years of perseverance finally settled when he graduated with honors from Ateneo. He also earned third location for the A lot of Outstanding Thesis Award, recognizing the quality of his scholastic work.
