That rejection hit hard. Deborah remembers in a Facebook post how she wept deeply that year, a moment that never ever made it to social networks however shaped her journey. In 2021, the frustration lingered, triggering her to lose motivation briefly.
And hence, she did not obtain admission that year, missing out on the chance as the application window closed. But still, she did not give up on her dream to further.In 2022, Deborah
found strength again. With renewed faith and determination, she requested Direct Entry into TASUED, and this time, she was provided admission. That single minute changed everything.Years of waiting, discomfort, and perseverance lastly began to settle. Deborah stayed focused throughout her research studies, and in the end, she graduated with a Top-notch degree.Reflecting on her journey, she shared the numerous quiet struggles she sustained includi ng the tears after stopping working WAEC in 2014, the disappointment of scoring 178 in JAMB due to technical issues in 2016 and the heartbreak of not acquiring admission into FUTA in 2020. Through all of it, she hung on to faith. According to her, those 11 years were filled with waiting, determination, and rely on God. “This journey wasn’t by my strength … God carried me, she said.Today, as a happy graduate , Deborah recalls with thankfulness, acknowledging how far she has come in spite of
the odds.Now, with her bachelor’s degree in hand, she is setting her sights greater, preparing to pursue a Master’s degree and continue her scholastic journey.
