
The deal brings EduCorePro’s technology platform, items, and specialist AI group into Acumen’s global admissions and enrolment services division, enhancing the business’s capability to deliver quicker, more accurate and more scalable enrolment outcomes for higher education institutions worldwide.
As part of the deal, EduCorePro creator and CEO Bhushan Samant will join Acumen as primary innovation officer of its admissions and enrolment services division, where he will lead the integration of AI abilities into the business’s global operations.
Acumen said the combined organisation will incorporate EduCorePro’s automation and AI tools with its own human-led admissions know-how to build a next-generation enrolment platform.
Acumen stated the acquisition comes as institutions are under pressure to enhance “compliance, application quality, scams detection, visa trustworthiness, functional performance and conversion efficiency,” while likewise managing increasing demand for faster decision-making and improved candidate experience.
EduCorePro’s existing platform focuses on AI-powered tools created to enhance admissions workflows, consisting of document handling, candidate engagement, operational reporting and enrolment intelligence. Acumen said these abilities will help universities improve application turnaround times, engagement and conversion effectiveness.
The business also highlighted wider sector challenges driving the requirement for automation, keeping in mind that universities are running under “growing application volumes and increased student expectations around speed, responsiveness and user experience.”.
