The Federal government has invited the suspension of the instructors’ strike in Oyo State, describing the development as a major victory for discussion, partnership and the education of Nigerian kids.

In a statement released by the Federal Ministry of Education on Wednesday, the federal government said the resolution followed continual engagement in between the ministry, the Oyo State Federal Government and the Nigeria Union of Educators (NUT) at the nationwide, zonal and state levels, paving the way for instructors to return to classrooms and restore continuous learning across the state.

Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, said the effective resolution showed the cumulative commitment of all stakeholders to prioritise the interests, safety and future of learners.
