
The Lagos State Government, through the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), has commenced a two-day capacity-building workshop for senior secondary school teachers on Grade Levels 15 to 17, targeted at enhancing service shipment and rearranging the education sector for quality.
The workshop, holding at the State Teaching Service Staff Advancement Centre, Owutu, Ikorodu, is developed to strengthen the management capability of knowledgeable teachers and equip them with the skills needed to drive educational transformation in the state.
Stating the workshop open, Chairman of the State Teaching Service Commission, Mrs. Victoria Mopelola Peregrino, stated the programme, themed “Repositioning the Education Sector for Excellence: Strategic Management, Development and Service Delivery in Education,” was conceived to empower senior instructors as important motorists of instructional reform.
