The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that it will figure out the minimum cut-off marks for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Evaluation at its upcoming policy conference arranged for May 11.
The disclosure was made in a declaration released on Sunday by the board’s representative, Fabian Benjamin, who said the meeting would hold at the Body of Benchers Auditorium, Jabi, Abuja.
According to the statement, the annual policy meeting will combine key stakeholders in Nigeria’s tertiary education system to take choices on admission standards and standards for the 2026/2027 scholastic session.
Benjamin kept in mind that the conference serves as a vital forum where stakeholders jointly settle on the minimum appropriate UTME ratings and other admission procedures for universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
