TSU has launched the adjusted scholastic calendar for 2025/2026 and 2026/2027. Key dates cover exams, resumption, and matriculation.
- New trainees’ orientation holds 13 to 14 April 2026

Taraba State University, TSU, has launched its authorized adjusted scholastic calendar for the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 academic sessions. The schedule sets out dates for orientation, Senate, matriculation, assessments, resumption, registration, Christmas break, and return to campus. For trainees throughout 100 to 500 levels, the calendar gives a clear run of occasions; it reveals when each stage begins and when it ends.
Tabulation Orientation and enlisting for 2025/2026 Orientation for newly confessed students will hold from 13 to 14 April 2026.
This uses to 100 and 200 level students. Regular Senate is scheduled for Thursday, 16 April 2026, at the DDI Senate Structure, TSU. Enlisting for the 2025/2026 scholastic session will occur on Friday, 17 April 2026. This is likewise for 100 and 200 level students
. First semester examination dates
First term examinations for 300 to 500 level students will begin on Monday, 4 May 2026.
The examination period for that group will end on Friday, 22 May 2026.
For 100 and 200 level trainees, first term examinations for 2025/2026 will begin on Monday, 1 June 2026.
Those examinations will end on Saturday, 13 June 2026.
2nd term for 2025/2026 session
The 2nd semester for the 2025/2026 session will begin on Monday, 29 June 2026. This covers all levels from 100 to 500.
2nd semester assessments for 300 to 500 level students will begin on Monday, 28 September 2026.
The assessments for that classification will end on Friday, 16 October 2026.
For 100 and 200 level trainees, 2nd term examinations will begin on Monday, 19 October 2026.
The examination duration for that group will end on Saturday, 31 October 2026.
Resumption for the 2026/2027 session
Resumption for the new 2026/2027 session is fixed for Monday, 16 November 2026. This applies to all trainees from 100 to 500 levels.
Late registration will begin on Saturday, 21 November 2026, for all levels.
Late registration will end on Saturday, 27 November 2026, for all levels 100 to 500.
Registration for newly confessed students
Registration for newly confessed trainees for the 2026/2027 scholastic session will start on Monday, 29 November 2026. This uses to 100 and 200 level trainees.
Late registration for newly confessed students is repaired for Saturday, 5 December 2026.
Christmas break and return date
Christmas break will begin on 22 December 2026.
Trainees will resume after the Christmas break on Monday, 10 January 2027. This return date covers fresh and returning trainees across all levels.
Orientation and admission for 2026/2027
Orientation for newly admitted trainees in the 2026/2027 session will hold from 13 to 14 January 2027. This is for 100 and 200 level trainees.
Admission for the 2026/2027 academic session will hang on 15 January 2027, also for 100 and 200 level trainees.
