The management of the University of Cross River State, UNICROSS, has actually announced that the First Term Break will begin on Friday, 3 April 2026, and run up until Monday, 13 April 2026.
That notification covers both Personnel and Students; the campus moves into a brief time out for the period named in the release.

are to continue on break and return on Tuesday, 14 April 2026. Duties and scholastic activities will resume on that date. Throughout the break period, all scholastic work will stay suspended.
Academic activities will stop briefly during the break The University made the position plain. Mentor and other scholastic activities will not hold during the First Semester Break. For Trainees, the calendar is clear; break starts on 3 April 2026 and ends on
13 April 2026. Essential task staff are exempt
Personnel on important responsibilities are exempt from the break and are anticipated to continue their obligations in line with department schedules.
