Delta State University, DELSU, has actually modified the scholastic calendar for the 2nd term of the 2025/2026 academic session. The upgraded calendar sets out the return date for trainees, lecture period, modification week, examination dates, Senate factor to consider of results, and the term break. Lectures will end on Friday, 17 July 2026.
Modification and second term assessments
Modification will range from Monday, 20 July to Friday, 24 July 2026.
Second semester assessments will start on Monday, 27 July 2026, and end on Friday, 14 August 2026.
Second term break
The 2nd semester break will begin on Friday, 14 August 2026. The break will last 12 weeks.
Senate consideration of 2nd term results
Senate will think about the 2nd term results on Wednesday, 23 September 2026.
End of break and start of brand-new session
The second semester break will end on Friday, 6 November 2026.
